Albany Veterans Day Parade 2024
Nov. 11th, 2024
When: Monday November 11th
Where: We will meet at the Seed Warehouse located at 955 SE Jackson St. in Albany.
Time: I suggest 8am or shortly after, for parking is tight and they start to shut down the roads around the parade route. So arrive, No later than 10am.
***Cav., judging is between 9am & 10:30am.***
Who: All NWCWC members can attend. Artillery might provide a float so some folks can ride that if needed to. Period dress, & clean uniforms for all.
What: This is the largest Veterans Day Parade west of the Mississippi, it starts right there by our formation spot at Jackson and 9th Ave, it winds thru the historic downtown, and towards the Courthouse. The Parade route is just shy of 2 miles long.
~We are not allowed to throw or pass out candy or fliers at this event, sorry, our presence alone must be a good show to leave a good impression on the people so they will come and find us and are other events.
Parade begins at 11 am.
Bring water, soda, coffee & snacks to enjoy before and or after the parade.
