Winter Quarters
April 10-11, 2026

This event is for NCWC/WCWA Members Only
Details For 2026!!

Coordinator: Keith Menk

Friday arrival for set up at Antique Powerland, begins at 4pm and the gate remains open until 9pm. If you'll be arriving later then that please contact your unit's Captain or Keith Menk for the gate code.

Parking on Friday is by your camp, however vehicles need to be moved outside the main gate to the parking area on Saturday Morning by 9am. Parking for Reenactors is on Farmers Road: it is on the north side of the truck museum and runs east/west, it is also the road that has traditionally separated our Northern and Southern camp. PLEASE NOTE: the handy-cap spaces in front of the truck museum and the gravel lot in front of and beside the Caterpillar must be kept open for the general public and volunteers coming to see Powerland's Volunteer Fair.

Saturday arrival is 9am for those not camping Friday night.

Civilian and sewing sessions will be held in the administration conference room. Please bring an extension cord to go with your sewing machine. One of the sewing projects may include sewing for soldiers, period sewing, and quilting.

Military sessions will be held outside or in the truck museum and or the conference room within.

The garage sale will be held in the truck museum starting at 2pm. We must clean up after ourselves. And we MUST pick up the table and chairs in this room when moving them- do not drag them across the floor!

If you are camping you must leave by noon on Sunday.

No meals will be provided and no concessions are open on site.

Above ground fires only, please bring your wood.

Period dress is encouraged, but not required. IF you aren't dressed in period and happen to have an orange T-shirt from  the Steam-Up last year- you are encouraged to wear that. Otherwise, dress comfortably.

Being an even year- safety tests will not be given at this time in club wide fashion.

Antique Powerland is also hosting some conferences on Saturday. So there will be people on site other than our group. Be kind, courteous, and leave a good period impression on these folks. This could be an opportunity to recruit new members.
